SLEEP DEPRIVED

My son is 2yrs old so he should be sleeping through the night, but he’s not. Why? He’s a night owl. He wants to be up to the wee morning watching PBS kids. It wouldn’t be so bad if he would let me sleep. He wants me to share in the shows, which means every time I’m in a deep sleep, I hear, “Look Mommy”

Next week I’m traveling to Kansas for a meeting. You know what I’m looking forward to, sleeping in a bed by myself. I can’t wait.

Do you co-share a bed with a little one?

I co-share a few nights a week and I feel ya. I went to a retreat for work last year in the mountains. My coworkers were up all night talking and having fun. I was in bed by 9 and slept through breakfast. They said they started to send dogs out to find me. Last year when I went to Faith and Fiction I slept like a log. Looking forward to F&F this year so I can sleep in. Oh joy. Sleep, sleep, sleep. I need some bad. Enjoy your time alone. It's precious.
