Last night a citizen of Kirkwood went into a city council meeting and killed five people, the police then killed him.
Our first thoughts, is this the retaliation for the death sentence of a young man who had killed a Kirkwood police a few years ago.
Kirkwood has had a lot of racial tension since the first killing. It has a subdivision that is all Black and both men were from that area.
I’m afraid this will take a toll on this community. I’m asking for your prayers for this community. They need strength to survive this tragedy and they need forgiveness to move pass it and see that you can’t blame a race because of one person mistakes.
So please say a prayer for this community and I will too.
