(Healing, Encouragement and Loving Perspective for Overwhelmed Leaders) with accompanying Leader’s Self-Care Workbook

SYOTN: Writing this book, what did you learn about yourself and God?

I learned I could write best when I allowed the Spirit of God to lead me. I found that the presence of the Spirit makes the difference, it was not me.

SYOTN: What aspect of God do you most hope readers will take away after reading your book?

He is a God who wants you to be effective, efficient and empowered in all that you do. You can be a leader with characteristics liken to Jesus and make a difference in others.

SYOTN: Tell us about your publishing experience?

It was so new to me and sometimes stressful as you know it involves more than money, it’s your time, emotions and energy.

SYOTN: What one thing about writing do you wish other writers would understand?

Writers write, it is their passion and you need to discipline yourself to make this a natural habit and extension to who you are.

SYOTN: What one thing about writing do you wish other non-writers would understand?

Although, laborious it is a part of your personality and represents the essence of your soul.

SYOTN: Do you have any promotional tips for writers?

Consider joining associations and organizations that promote writing and books along with enthusiasm when talking about your work.

SYOTN: What was the last book to keep you up at night reading it?

Mary Higgins Clark, any of her books will keep me reading all night. Lori Wick is another author who is exciting, The Mill Pond was one I read while in Africa.

SYOTN: What resources do you use on the net?

Because I am a researcher, I use multiple resources and locate so many more. My bookmark is so full!

Thank you Sabra for your comments. With the current lack of confidence in leadership at all levels this books addresses the practical how-tos for leaders. Although, I deal with a biblical perspective the infrastructure of good leadership crosses all occupations. The crisis in leadership has impacted the white house, church, schools, corporate and our homes. I hope you pick it up.
